On Sale-shopping and Having Sisters
October 13, 2006 – 11:53 amI wasn’t in the mood to write anything in the past few days. I was kind of not feeling very well and to top it off, the weather have been gloomy. This in turn had such an effect in me that I felt that I “have” to be glomy too. Wehehehe.
Feels likes I’m in a roller coaster ride right now. On minute I’m up and about, like an Energizer bunny, and then the next I just feel like slumping on the floor, stare at the ceiling and not move.

Maybe the lack of energy can be attributed to me being overly-hyper last Friday. As always, as soon as I arrived from work and hit my head on the pillow, I was sleeping like a baby. I forced myself to be up by 4pm because I already set a “date” with bestfriend Sha. The only time we really get to talk and see each other is if we schedule such events. And for two people living in very different time zones (not literally, but she works during the day and I have my vampiric lifestyle), it can be very difficult. We really have to make an effort, especially for my part) so that we could see each other. And I didn’t want to cancel another “event?” with her so up I was, scrambling so that I could be at the office by 5pm to pick her up.
It was even raining on the way but I was quite excited too because for the past few times that we got to talk, I feel that Sha and I had really come past being “superficial-bestfriends” to a much closer relationship. I can truly say that I can tell her anything and the same also with her.
As soon as we arrived at the mall though, we stumbled across her whole family (sans older bro Leo) who were of course, doing also some “sale-shopping”. So I ended up going with the entire family, we ate some pizza and then I trailed the three sisters who were quite determined to spend some money, going from shop to shop.
It was actually quite fun because I felt like I was just hanging out with good friends (or more appropriately “sisters”). I never got to experience having a sister so it was really fun to be with Sha’s younger sisters who were just teenagers coz I felt like a teenager myself (I’m not that old!). We just basically hanged around the shoe section. I was looking for the perfect office shoes, the one which would not make my feet ache the whole night. Sam (Sha’s younger sis) pointed out a really cute shoes but they didn’t have my size (I have BIG feet! grrrr) so I settled to the one I already had my eye on, not as cute but certainly very functional and quite trendy.
After maybe a couple of hours at the shoe section, we then went to the toiletries, with the intention of checking out the ceramic iron curler + straightener. Sha’s sis were kindof excited about it and the four of us were kind of just fooling around and making the saleslady do some demonstration and just asking a lot of questions. Sha bought one, and I ended up buying one also. I don’t have any time to really try it out though coz I’m just always late so I don’t have time to properly fix my hair. Time just went flying by and I didn’t realize that it was already 9pm, so I just went ahead coz I have to be at the office by 10pm and I have to go home and get dressed by then.
As always, I was late.
