in with the christmas ritual

just been a homebody during the holidays as i was really taking advantage of my vacation…

except for outings with the family and me doing a little bit of shopping alone (mostly for dog supplies) i rarely went out of the house. i was of course, just being a couch potato. i actually don’t remember th useless things i did.

oh yeah. i cooked for our noche buena and medya noche. it was the usual recipe of pasta and some desserts. got to try out recipes i got from the internet and they actually turned out great.

after christmas day, we got to drive out to pototan with all my cousins. the cousin posse are quite complete except for bebe who was with her lovey doves. we left at about 7pm and picked up tawi at robinson’s as he was in possession of some yummy food. off we then went to pototan while eating pizza and teasing tawi who was in an “emote-mode”. he was actually joking about jumping off the car whenever a sentimental song plays on the radio.

going to pototan has been kind of a christmas ritual for us cousins. we get to hang out and just have fun eating, roaming around and then playing in the “perya” and then maybe try out the carnival rides. it rained though, so we just hang out in the perya for awhile. i’m not really into playing games of chance so i just watched. there’s this game where you put your money in a color and then they roll a very big block of wood and when that color comes out, you win the amount you bet. cousin tawi won twice, betting 50 pesos each. i guess if you’re not lucky inlove, you have to be lucky in money
