PG Rating for Bloggista
July 4, 2007 – 5:31 amI was in my routine blog prowling when I came across this site: mingle2.com which rates your blog much like a movie. I tried this one out just to see how they actually rate a blog:
This rating was determined based on the presence of the following words: porn (1x)
I guess the the sites searches for certain words (blacklisted or porn-related) then determines how many they are to determine the blog rating. The “porn” word was actually from my viral icons on the loose posting. The word was not used in context but rather referred to the rules of the viral icons posting.
You can see that my blog is actually rated G, which means that even babies can read my blog (that is, if they already know how to read).
I think that blog classification is a great idea. When people come to your blog and see that your blog is rated G, then they can be sure that no lewd things are posted in the blog. What do you think?
